What Is Letroso
Letroso is a browser-based word puzzle game that you can play completely free, on any device, without downloading anything or creating an account. Every day a new hidden word is waiting for you. Your job is to figure out what it is using a feedback system that goes well beyond simple colored tiles.
Unlike most word games that lock you into a fixed five-letter format, Letroso changes the word length daily, anywhere from three to eight letters. That means every puzzle feels genuinely different. You cannot lean on the same strategy every morning. You have to think, adapt, and read the board carefully each time.
How the Feedback System Works
Green tiles mean the letter is in the correct position. Yellow tiles mean the letter is somewhere in the word but not where you placed it. Grey tiles mean the letter is not in the word at all. On top of that, Letroso shows connection lines between tiles that tell you which letters sit directly next to each other in the final answer. That extra layer of visual logic is what makes Letroso unlike any other word game available today.
Why We Built Letroso
We were regular word game players who felt the genre had stopped evolving. Every game was doing the same thing, five letters, six guesses, share your colored grid on social media. Fun at first, but predictable after a while.
We wanted a word puzzle that rewarded actual deductive thinking rather than raw vocabulary size. A game where a patient, logical player could outperform someone with a much bigger dictionary simply by reading the board more carefully. A game that felt meaningfully different each day, not just in the answer but in the nature of the challenge itself.
That is what Letroso is. A word game built for people who genuinely like to think.
We launched in early 2026 and have been actively building and improving since. Watching players go from confused beginners to players who crack hard mode puzzles in five or six guesses is exactly the kind of thing that makes this project worth doing every day.
